Never put yourself in a dangerous position on the infield, and never have your back facing the traffic.

•Stand in the flag marshal points
•Stand in designated safety zones
•Stand on the outside of a safety fence
•Stand in towers designated for officials if available
DON’T
•Stand on the edge of the track or for that matter on the track
•Stand on the outside of the corners
•Stand in front of any track side protection
