This section is applicable to all Race Officials, Chief Steward, Steward’s on the panel, Clerk of the Course/Race Director and Assistant Clerks of the Course.
In your Race Official’s Stationary you should at all times have the forms listed below. If you run out, return the completed form pad to the KartSport National Office and request a further pad. It is important that when completing any of the forms they are done correctly and without question.
Wherever you are required to sign a form you are also required to stamp the form alongside the signature with your KartSport New Zealand Officials stamp. Where forms are in duplicate or triplicate, you must sign and stamp on each of the duplicate forms.
For Class -
Don’t write Rotax as there are several classes of Rotax.
Do write 125cc Rotax Light or 125cc Rotax Heavy
Don’t write Junior as there are several classes of Junior
Do identify the class from KartSport Manual section E
Name of Competitor -
Just because you know the competitor as Nancy Valentine it does not always mean this is their name as written in their Competition Licence. Check their Competition Licence, the name maybe Anne Shaw-Valentine.
Guardian - If you are unsure if a competitor should have a guardian, ask the Race Secretary.
